Via Rail Renaissance Trainset

This trainset includes one Genesis P42DC which in the late 1990's, amidst rising environmental concerns focusing on reducing dependence on auto's and planes, and with rail-friendly Minister of Transport David Collenette in office, there were modest funding increases to Via. Corridor services were improved with this new and faster train.

Set also includes 9 of the 106 Renaissance cars owned by Via they are not only the newest intercity passenger equipment on North American rails, they are the most unique. Renaissance is a blend of the best of Continental and Canadian rail technology that provides exceptional levels of comfort, safety and operating efficiency.

The trainset consist included in this pack is Train #92 last Renaissance run, from July 2012 Niagara To Toronto:
